The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.”TEXT: Psalms 19:7-8 (KJV)MESSAGE🍎The Holy Scriptures were written by the inspiration of God and they are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.(2 Timothy 3:15-16); 15” And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”Inside the Holy Scriptures are God’s laws, testimonies, statutes, and commandments.Beloved, a law is the system of rules which a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and which it may enforce by the imposition of penalties.A testimony is a formal written or spoken statement. A statute is a law or decree made by God.A commandment is a divine rule, especially one of the Ten Commandments. These show that the Word of God has many good things to offer:It converts our souls, makes us wise, rejoices our hearts, and enlightens our eyes (Psalms 19:7–8).Your total dependent on the Word of God, and anchoring your life on the word will move you from glory to glory.We are called to abide in Christ always. Abide in his word always. For we cannot achieve anything in life without abiding in the word (John 15:1-7). Without the word we can do nothing, because we are the products of the words (1 Peter 1:23);Listen to these scriptures:“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.4 Abide in me, and I in you.
