A transformation must occur, as a result of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling (Galatians 5: 24-25). When we truly practice the believer’s lifestyle, the inward evidence becomes obvious. God’s glory and power pour out upon all those around us. Those who live the believer’s lifestyle live a confident life on the inside and outside. The people of God have a certain kind of lifestyle that has been designed for them, and this should be a way of life if they want to continue to be the children of God. Their lifestyle could either bless their possessions or vise versa. To receive blessings from God, you first have to do everything God’s way. In order to receive the blessing of healing from God, He has demanded humility, prayer, seeking His face, and repentance. Only then can He heal His children and their land. Today’s Christians should not take God for granted; He still demands humility, fellowship, prayer, and repentance today because He is still a holy God. Dearly beloved, if we want God to be close to us, fellowship with us, and answer our prayers, then we need to live lifestyles of prayer, humility, repentance, and holiness.What is the purpose of living a Believer’s lifestyle?To remain connected to God through Jesus Christ (JOHN 15:4-8).To remain faithful through persecution and to resist false doctrine (2 Timothy 3: 12-17)To present the Good News to a lost world (Mark 16: 15-16; 1 Timothy 6:12).Our transformed lives compel us to share the Gospel’s impact not just for our “today”, but for our eternity.What was the lifestyle of Jesus Christ?Jesus communicated continually with God (Matthew 11:25-26; Mark 6:46).He acknowledged the significance of the Holy Spirit (John 14: 16-17, 26).He obeyed the will of His Heavenly Father (Luke 22:42, John 6: 38-39).He resisted temptation by steadfastness to the word of God (Luke 4:1-13)He reached out to those considered hopeless and sinners (Mark 2:15-16)He served others, humbling himself before his father (John 13: 3-5, 12-15)He persevered in faith and love (John 4:34, John 9:4, John 17:23).Beloved follow the footsteps of Christ and live for his glory, in Jesus mighty name, AmenPRAYERS🔑Heavenly Father, I thank you for your goodness and blessings over my life and family.
