ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2022.Today’s Theme: ⛪ FATHERHOOD”For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus”.Text: Galatians 3:26MESSAGE🍎Fatherhood is the state of being a father. A person enters fatherhood when he becomes a father. Fatherhood is a responsibility. This is why the Bible says “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Fatherhood comes with discipline. You cannot be a good father without discipline. This is the almighty God said of Abraham, “I know him that he (Abraham) will command his children and his household after him” (Genesis 18:19).There is a link between a father and the child. The link is what I call, connectivity. Fatherhood comes with connectivity.Fatherhood is connectivity, not nearness. There must be something that connects you with your father. For a biological father, you are connected by blood or genes.Spiritual Fathers are connected by covenant, which may be giving, tutorship, service or submission. As a spiritual child, you must be able to sow into the life of your spiritual father, to obtain his blessings, which may come in the form of anointing, grace, impartation, coverage, etc.Foster Fathers are connected by adoption and submission. Your ability to submit to your father is what proves that you are a son or daughter. All ministers of the gospel must have someone to submit for the sake of discipline especially. You must not be a spiritual orphan. A spiritual orphan is anyone that has not spiritual coverage, guide or mentor. We all have God as our refuge (Psalm46:1), that we know, but our earthly submission is paramount. .“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.But physically, we must submit to someone of higher spiritual authority in your area of calling as a spiritual mentor for guide and discipline.13 “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men” (1 Peter 2:13-15).Elisha submitted to Elijah as his spiritual father.12 “And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;14 And he took the mantle of Elijah the fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him”.Timothy submitted to Apostle Paul as spiritual mentor.(1 Corinthians 4:17)“For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church”.Samuel submitted to Eli as his spiritual authority (1 Samuel 3:1)“And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision”.Gehazi served Elisha as his master.as recorded in 2 kings 5:20.“But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the Lord liveth, me will run after him, and take somewhat of him”.Fatherhood is a gender-specified version of the term parenthood. The fatherhood of God is common to all his children. God is a father to us in both the natural and spiritual sense. The role of father originated with God himself, our Heavenly Father, and is a divine role and calling. Father is an opportunity to become like God, to love and care for children as God loves and cares for us. There is a link between a Father and the child. Finally we have our Heavenly Father.A Spiritual Father has the heart of the Heavenly Father within him, so don’t joke with him.He loves and cares for his spiritual children, through the heavenly expressions of God’s love and care.He begets them spiritually, provides mentorship, spiritual coverage, guidance, spiritual parenting and oversight.Spiritual Fathers link with their children through covenant. Our Heavenly Father link with us through His Holy Spirt. He disciplines the children where necessary (Proverbs 22:6).“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)And we become the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus (John 1:12). And as we are led by the Spirit of God, we are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).We belong to His family, God’s Family.Peter and Paul, the highly-favoured apostles, were of the family of the Most High; and so are you also; the weak Christian is as much a child of God as the strong one.“This covenant stands secure,Though earth’s old pillars bow;The strong, the feeble, and the weak,Are one in Jesus now.”All our names as we believed in Christ Jesus are in the same family register. One may have more grace than another, but God our heavenly Father has the same tender heart towards all. One may do more mighty works, and may bring more glory to his Father, but he whose name is the least in the kingdom of heaven is as much the child of God as he who stands among the King’s mighty men. Let this cheer and comfort us, when we draw near to God and say, “Our Father.” Mathew 6:9)Yet, while we are comforted by knowing this, let us not rest contented with weak faith, but ask, like the Apostles, to have it increased. However feeble our faith may be, if it be real faith in Christ, we shall reach heaven, and we shall honour our Master on our pilgrimage, we should abound in joy and peace. If then you would live to Christ’s glory, and be happy in his service, seek to be filled with the Spirit of adoption more and more completely, as the Bible has said;“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father” (Galatians 4:6)Once you are united or adopted into the family of God, you are secured, protected in his arms, fear is cast away because of His perfect love.“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18).HOW DO I ATTRACT MY FATHER’S BLESSINGSHonour your father alwaysGive him his favourite in righteousness (As in the case of Isaac)Do not dishonor your father as Reuben did by sleeping with his father’s wifeDefend him in open and secret.Sow into his life when occasion demands. Remember, Fatherhood is connectivity, not nearness, so connect to him through your precious gifts/offerings.May you enjoy the blessings of fatherhood from today in Jesus mighty name, Amen.PRAYERS♨️Heavenly Father, I thank you for the blessings of fatherhood. I appreciate you for giving me a coverage as my Heavenly Father and Shield at all times.Father beauties me as your child and empowers me to live to the fullness of your covenant.Father, I want to be like Jesus in my heart. Help me to live unto you and you alone.Father, I disconnect my soul and spirit from every wrong foundation of my father’s household. And I decree and declare that I am connected to the foundation of righteousness and glory in Christ Jesus in Jesus mighty name, Amen..Help me to do your blessed will always in Jesus mighty name, Amen.FURTHER BIBLE READINGPSALM 103: 13; PROVERBS 22: 6BIBLE READING PLAN FOR THE YEAR.MORNING: GENESIS, 19- 20EVENING: MATHEW, 19-20💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Hammer Word Cares ♨️
ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022Today’s Theme: ⛪BE A PEACE MAKER“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God”.Text: Matthew 5:9MESSAGE🍎A peacemaker is someone who brings about peace. He or She preaches peace and lives in peace with others. Any person who reconciles adversaries is a peace maker. A peacemaker engages in processes such as negotiation, mediation, reconciliation, and arbitration-in case of international scene, to bring about peace. Our Text today is the seventh of the beatitudes: and seven was the number of perfection among the Hebrews. It may be that the Saviour placed the peacemaker the seventh upon the list because he most nearly approaches the perfect man in Christ Jesus. He who would have perfect blessedness, so far as it can be enjoyed on earth, must attain to this seventh benediction, and become a peacemaker. There is a significance also in the position of the text. The verse which precedes it speaks of the blessedness of “the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”It is well to understand that we are to be “first pure, then peaceable.”Our peaceableness is never to be a compact with sin, or toleration of evil. We must set our faces like flints against everything which is contrary to God and his holiness: purity being in our souls a settled matter, we can go on to peaceableness. Not less does the verse that follows seem to have been put there on purpose. However peaceable we may be in this world, yet we shall be misrepresented and misunderstood: and no marvel, for even the Prince of Peace, by his very peacefulness, brought fire upon the earth. He himself, though he loved mankind, and did no ill, was “despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.” (Isaiah 53:3)Lest, therefore, the peaceable in heart should be surprised when they meet with enemies, it is added in the following verse,“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Mathew 5:10)Thus, the peacemakers are not only pronounced to be blessed, but they are compassed about with blessings. Lord, give us grace to climb to this seventh beatitude! Purify our minds that we may be “first pure, then peaceable,” and fortify our souls, that our peace may not lead us into cowardice and despair, when for thy sake we are persecuted.Characteristics of PeacemakersPeace rules in their hearts. Philippians 4:7Peacemakers are active members of the body of Christ trying to reconcile people. 1 Corinthians 12:12They are resolute in the truth. 1John 3:4They are gentle. 2 Timothy 2:24They are patience. James 1:4; James 5:7-8They seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34: 14They always live to please the Lord. Psalm 16:7.I pray that the very God of peace grant us peace always, and make us peacemakers, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.PRAYERS♨️Heaven Father, I thank you for a wonderful opportunityYou give to me as a child of peace to be identified with your peace deal.Father, let your peace guides my heart and empower me with the grace to live peaceably with all men.Make me Lord the instrument of peace, as your peace ambassador to bring peace to every facet of life I find myself.Father, as I step out today, may I encounter your peace and live in peace always in Jesus mighty name, Amen.May your peace, open the heavens of the blessings for my progress and victory through the very God of peace in Jesus mighty name, AmenFURTHER BIBLE READINGROMANS 14:19; PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7;JAMES 3: 13-18BIBLE READING PLANS FOR THE YEARMORNING: GENESIS, 17-18EVENING: MATHEW, 17-18💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Hammer Word Cares ♨️

Someone that lacks the basic necessity of life. Someone without the proper means of survival is considered the poor. Why does God allow so many of his children to be poor? He could make them all rich if he is pleased; he could lay bags of gold at their doors; he could send them a large annual income; or he could scatter round their houses abundance of provisions, as once he made the quails lie in heaps round the camp of Israel, and rained bread out of heaven to feed them (Exodus 16:4)“Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.”There is no necessity that they should be poor, except that he sees it to be best. Hear Him;10 “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.12 If me were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof”.(Psalm 50:10-12)He could supply them; he could make the richest, the greatest, and the mightiest bring all their powers and riches to the feet of his children, for the hearts of all men are in his control (Proverbs 21:1). But he does not choose to do so; he allows them to suffer want, he allows them to pine in penury and obscurity. Why is this? There are many reasons, but one of them is to give us, who are favoured with enough, an opportunity of showing our love to Jesus. We show our love to Christ when we sing of him and when we pray to him; but if there were no sons of need in the world we should lose the sweet privilege of evidencing our love (God first demonstrated it-John 3:16), by ministering in alms-giving to his poorer brethren; he has ordained that thus we should prove that our love stands not in word only, but indeed and in truth (1 John 3:18).If we truly love Christ, we shall care for those who are loved by him. Those who are dear to him will be dear to us. Let us then look upon it not as a duty but as a privilege to relieve the poor of the Lord’s flock—remembering the words of the Lord Jesus,“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” (Mathew 25:40)Surely this assurance is sweet enough, and this motive strong enough to lead us to help others with a willing hand and a loving heart—recollecting that all we do for his people is graciously accepted by Christ as done to himself.PRAYERS♨️Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me. In the Old Testament, we observed Abraham offering a tenth to Melchizedek, king of Salem, the Priest of the Most High God in Gen.14:17-20. And Abraham paid tithe of all to God which brought deliverance unto him against the will of the enemies. Tithes of all means tithes of things according to God’s blessings concerning his life and destiny. This tithing was done before Mosaic covenant with God concerning the children of IsraelThere is nowhere in the New Testament that any of the Apostles or Disciples Condemned or criticised Tithing. When Jesus made reference to Tithing He never Condemned or advocated it to be abolished (Matthew 23:23, Luke 11:42)If the Principle of “Jesus and Paul” as the basis of New Testament Doctrines still holds then the noise about tithe is much ado about nothing because none of them said anything untoward about it.Therefore obey the covenant and enjoy the blessings of tithing.TITHING UNDER THE LAWTithing under the law is very much different from the tithe practiced by Abraham and the Church today. While the tithe under Melchizedek Priesthood was a single payment of 10% a sign of GRATITUDE without any clear or specific purpose for its use.The Tithing under the law was not a One type but three different types. The Levitical or Sacred Tithe (Numbers 18:21,24) (10% of 100 = 10)The Tithe of the Feasts (Deuteronomy 14:22-27) (10% of 90 = 9)The Tithe for the poor (Deuteronomy 14:28,29) (10% of 80 = 8) 10 +9+8 = 27If you do a Calculation of the above Tithe payment you come up with 27% not 10%. No Church takes 27% from anyone under compulsion or force. The above Tithe under the law comes with a punitive measures of additional 20% if not paid. The Church does not practice that. Listen to this:Leviticus 27:30-33: “‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD. If a man redeems any of his tithe, he must add a fifth of the value to it.The kind of tithe practiced in our churches today is structured administratively not as a matter of law but to aid in the effective running of the Church because unlike the days of Melchizedek today we have Temples and Priests to take care of, coupled with all the other projects and philanthropic gestures the church is involved. The Spirit behind the tithe under Melchizedek, Moses and the Church is the same but the structures may differ.Under Melchizedek it was 10% and there was no Punitive measures recorded, Under Moses it was 27% and there was punitive measures attached to it, under the Church the punitive measures are removed and the Percentage returned to 10%.So the Church kind of tithe is not the law type but the Melchizedek type which existed hundreds of years before law.By the time of Malachi the tithe has become a kind of a covenant type of payment through which God deals with Israel for which reason non-payment attracts “No Blessings” which is captured as a Curse.Due to this reason both Jesus and Paul were careful not to touch the issue unnecessarily, because it helped the commitment of the people in relation to their service of God.Anything that makes people show discipline and commitment to God also increases their faith and it is important because without faith it is impossible to please God.What then are the blessings of tithing according to Malachi 3: 10-12?The windows of heaven will be opened to you through your obedience in tithing. Malachi 3:10Blessings from heaven will be outpoured unto you. Malachi 3:10.Devourers over your blessings and assets will be rebuked by the Lord.Malachi 3:11Destruction from the wicked will be far away from your tabernacle. ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2022Today’s Theme: ⛪ BEWARE OF PRESUMPTUOUS SINS“Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then I shall be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression”.Text: Psalm 19:13MESSAGE🍎Presumptuous means overstepping due bounds (as of property or courtesy). It means taking too much liberties. Its synonyms are: pompous, pretentious, overconfident, foolhardy, and arrogant, rude. Presumptuous Sins are deliberate sins. They are sins committed with the full knowledge that they are sins and in full light of what God has said. Presumptuous is sin that is committed willfully against known truth and knowledge in total disregard for that revealed truth. Presumptuous sins are self- destructive and should be avoided at all cost. You can still put it this way; Presumptuous sins are always conscious sins that are committed knowingly after deliberation, and in full knowledge of what is involved. In this case, Presumptuous sins are ultimate rebellion against God. Presumptuous sin is a rape of God’s mercy. Such was the prayer of the “man after God’s own heart.”Did holy David need to pray thus? How needful, then, must such a prayer be for us babes in grace! It is as if he said, “Keep me back, or I shall rush headlong over the precipice of sin.” Our evil nature, like an ill-tempered horse, is apt to run away. May the grace of God put the bridle upon it, and hold it in, that it rush not into mischief. What might not the best of us do if it were not for the checks which the Lord sets upon us both in providence and in grace! The psalmist’s prayer is directed against the worst form of sin—that which is done with deliberation and willfulness. Even the holiest need to be “kept back” from the vilest transgressions. It is a solemn thing to find the apostle Paul warning saints against the most loathsome sins. “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” (Colossians 3:5)What!, do saints want warning against such sins as these? Yes, they do.The whitest robes, unless their purity be preserved by divine grace, will be defiled by the blackest spots. Experienced Christian, boast not in your experience; you will trip yet if you look away from him who is able to keep you from falling (Hebrews 12:2).Ye whose love is fervent, whose faith is constant, whose hopes are bright, say not, “We shall never sin,” but rather cry, “Lead us not into temptation.” (Mathew 6:13).There is enough tinder in the heart of the best of men to light a fire that shall burn to the lowest hell, unless God shall quench the sparks as they fall.Who would have dreamed that righteous Lot could be found drunken, and committing uncleanness? Hazael said, “Is thy servant a dog, that he should do this thing?” (2 Kings 8:13) and we are very apt to use the same self-righteous question.May infinite wisdom cure us of the madness of self-confidence.PRAYERSHeavenly Father, I thank you for giving me understanding of your word. Lord I am grateful.Help me Lord to walk in the way that is pleasing unto God. Father, give me understanding so that I may live according to your will. Guide me do thy blessed will always. Strangers are foreigners operating on a different environment or nations other than their own. Believers are strangers in this world. We are in this world but we are not of this world.Hear this: “Yes, O Lord, with thee, but not to thee. All my natural alienation from thee, thy grace has effectually removed; and now, in fellowship with thyself, I walk through this sinful world as a pilgrim in a foreign country”.Thou art a stranger in thine own world. How? The world lies under the wicked arms of Satan. Man who forgets thee, dishonours thee, sets up new laws and alien customs, and knows thee not. When thy dear Son came unto his own, his own received him not. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not (John 1:10).Never was a foreigner so speckled a bird among the denizens of any land as thy beloved Son among his mother’s brethren (John 1:11).It is no marvel, then, if I who live the life of Jesus, should be unknown in the world and a stranger thereof.Lord, I would not be a citizen where Jesus was an alien. His pierced hand has loosened the cords which once bound my soul to earth, and now I find myself a stranger in the land, called this world. My speech seems to these Babylonians among whom I dwell an outlandish tongue, my manners are singular, and my actions are strange.A Tartar would be more at home in Cheapside than I could ever be in the haunts of sinners. But here is the sweetness of my lot: I am a stranger with thee. Thou art my fellow-sufferer, my fellow-pilgrim. Oh, what joy to wander in such blessed society! My heart burns within me by the way when thou does speak to me, and though I be a sojourner, I am far more bless than those who sit on thrones, and far more at home than those who dwell in their ceiled houses.“To me remains nor place, nor time:My country is in every clime;I can be calm and free from careOn any shore, since God is there. While place we seek, or place we shun,The soul finds happiness in none:But with a God to guide our way,’Tis equal joy to go or stay.”It is my utmost prayers that we will find peace to dwell in this strange land with hope of eternity.PRAYERSHeavenly Father, I thank you for giving me this understanding, that while I live in this world, I am not of this world.Father, help me that while I live in this world, never allow me to make my bed with the world.Help me to shut my eyes on the things of this world. Open my eyes to see beyond the shadow of this world.Let thy good Spirit guides me to do your blessed will always in Jesus mighty name, Amen.Father, my going out today is blessed. If you would prosper in your work for Jesus, let it be heart work, and let it be done with all your heart. Put as much force, energy, heartiness, and earnestness into religion as ever you do into business, for it deserves far more. The Holy Spirit helps our infirmities (Romans 8:26), but he does not encourage our idleness; he loves active believers.Who are the most useful men in the Christian church? The men who do what they undertake for God with all their hearts.Who are the most successful born again believers today? The most talented? No; the most zealous; the men whose hearts are on fire, those are the men who see their Lord riding forth prosperously in the majesty of his salvation.Whole-heartedness shows itself in perseverance; there may be failure at first, but the earnest worker will say, “It is the Lord’s work, and it must be done; my Lord has bidden me do it, and in his strength I will accomplish it.” Christian, art thou thus “with all thine heart” serving thy Master?Remember the earnestness of Jesus! Think what heart-work was his!He could say, “The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up (Psalm 69:9).”When he sweat great drops of blood, it was no light burden he had to carry upon those blessed shoulders; and when he poured out his heart, it was no weak effort he was making for the salvation of his people. Was Jesus in earnest, and are we lukewarm? We as believers today must work the works of God for blessings to flow upon us as Jesus had declared in John 9:4.“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”.We must earnestly contend for the faith laid before us.“Beloved, when me gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3)We must serve God in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24), then reap bountiful harvest of blessings (Hebrews 6:10)“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye has shewed toward his name, in that ye has ministered to the saints, and do minister”.Beloved whatever we do for God, is for our good that we may reap if we faint not. My prayer is that may you be faithful to God who is faithful (Deuteronomy 7:9) and reap the benefits of redemption, the riches of his glory, in Jesus mighty name, amen.PRAYERS🍎Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love and care over my life and family. I am quite grateful for finding me worthy to be part of the kingdom. I pray for grace to do your will, and strength to serve you to the end.Father, my times are in thy hand, encourage me to do your blessed will and help me to stand within thy covenant concerning my life and destiny in Jesus mighty name, Amen.Father, this day I decree, whatever I touch to do will prosper. Prosper my life, soul and spirit and connect me to the realm of blessings. You had promised Abraham that in blessings, you will bless him.Father, bless me this day and make my life a blessing and help me to stay within thy covenant of blessings in Jesus name, Amen.FURTHER READING:DEUTERONOMY 8:1.
