ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL⛪October 4, 2022♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️Today’s Theme: ⛪️ FIGHT THE LORD’S BATTLE”And Saul said to David; behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife; only be thou valiant for me, and fight the Lord’s battles. For Saul said, let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him”Text: 1 Samuel 18:17MESSAGE💚Battle is a sustained fight between two organized forces or kingdoms. This could be battle between two unseen forces or between seen and unseen forces or kingdoms. Battle involves two opposing kingdoms. This is why Jesus said,“Every kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, it must be brought into destruction” (Luke 11:17).Every fight involving any child of God is the Lord’s battle. And we as believers are commanded to fight the LORD’S BATTLE (1 Samuel 18:17). The Lord’s Battle that the believer is commanded,” is to fight the good fight of faith”;“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and has professed a good profession before many witnesses” (1 Tim.6:12). And the Lord prepares and trains us for the battle;“Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight” (Psalm 144: 1).John Stewart Mills once said, “A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares about more than his personal safety, is miserable creature who has no chance of being free”.This is the reason David declared to the Philistines;“And all these assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands” (1 Samuel 17:47)The sacramental host of God’s elect is warring still on earth, Jesus Christ being the captain of their salvation (Hebrews 2:10). He has said;“Lo! I am with you always, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20).Hark to the shouts of war! Now let the people of God stand fast in their ranks, and let no man’s heart fail him. It is true that just now in Nigeria the battle is turned against us, the Christians and unless the Lord Jesus shall lift his sword, we know not what may become of the church of God in this land; but let us be of good courage, and play the men just like Joab against the Syrians (2 Samuel 10: 12);“Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God; and the Lord do that which seemeth him good. And Joab drew nigh, and the people that were with him, unto the battle against Syrians; and they fled before him” (2 Samuel 10:12).By the actions of Joab, and the choice men of Israel, the Syrians fled and they were smitten. Beloved, irrespective of how many your enemies are, as you stand in the gap for yourself, people, nation, and fight, your adversaries shall flee and will be smitten. There was never a day when Christians seemed to tremble more in the scales than now that a fierce effort is making to take Nigeria as an Islamic nation. We greatly want a bold voice and a strong hand to preach and publish the old gospel for which martyrs bled and confessors died. The Saviour is, by his Spirit, still on earth; let this cheer us. He is ever in the midst of the fight, and therefore the battle is not doubtful. And as the conflict rages, what a sweet satisfaction it is to know that the Lord Jesus, in his office as our great Intercessor, is prevalently pleading for his people! O anxious gazer, look not so much at the battle below, for there thou shalt be enshrouded in smoke, and amazed with garments rolled in blood (Isaiah 9:5); but lift thine eyes yonder where the Saviour lives and pleads, for while he intercedes, the cause of God is safe.Let us fight as if it all depended upon us, but let us look up and know that all depends upon him. We, in Nigeria, must fight knowing for sure, what is left for us now, is to fight and take our nation back from the hands of the heathen. We must initiate the battle of our nation’s redemption, and the man of war is on our side. In your family, you must fight to redeem the land from the ancestral idolatrous spirits ravaging our families and communities. We must fight to come of the marine witchcraft spirit putting us and our people in captivity. Let us blow the alarm for war, for God will fight for us from heaven. Remember, the battle is the Lord’s. God bless you. Now, by the lilies of Christian purity, and by the roses of the Saviour’s atonement, by the roes and by the hinds of the field, we charge you who are lovers of Jesus, to do valiantly in the Holy War, for truth and righteousness, for the kingdom and crown jewels of your Master. Onward! “For the battle is not yours but God’s.”(1 Samuel 17: 47)Is it right to fight?Yes? There are times when it is the lesser of two evils. There are times when it is appropriate and there are times when it is inappropriate. Ecclesiastes 3:8 declares, “There is a time for war and a time for peace”. The Bible is realistic about this. There are many examples in the Bible where God commanded a war. He said, “Go to war”. When you look at the great heroes of faith in Hebrews 11; Joshua, David, Gideon, Sampson-these men were warriors. In the New Testament, at one time, Jesus told his disciples to sell their coats and buy a sword (Luke 22:36). It is time for true believers to rise up for the battle of the Lord to redeem our Land. No part of Nigeria must be given to the heathen. Nigeria belongs to God. O Nigeria, my country, my birth place. The following are the reasons we must fight:In order to preserve freedom. We need the freedom of worship and association, not intimidation and destruction of lives. Freedom is not free, there is a price tag (Number 32).In order to defend innocent people. Attack is the best form of defend. Proverbs 21:15. When Justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evil doers. Our God is a God of peace and justice. In order to stop the spread of evil. Romans 13:4.In order to maintain steady progress. Joshua 1: 7.In order to secure our prosperity. Joshua 1: 8. Praise the Lord.PRAYERSHeavenly Father, I thank you this day for the grace of life and destiny fulfilment. Thank you for the gift of life and grace to fight the battle of my destiny.”Blessed be the Lord my strength who teacheth my hands to war and my fingers to fight”(Psalm 144:1). Lord, empower me this day to fight the battles of my life. You have promised that you will fight for me while I hold my peace (Exodus 14:14)Lord my anchor is on you, Grant me all round victory today in all my efforts through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.Heavenly Father, I plead that you come to the rescue of Nigeria, let thy angels of war rise for war, let the heavens declare it’s amour, let the earth unveil her arsenals, and the waters rise from its coast. Let them fight for us, even from heaven. Let the stars of heaven rise up for war. Father, let all you created fight for us. Let the sand rise up for war and the dust roars from the pits against my enemies and the enemies of the church of God in Nigeria. Lord, fight for your kingdom, that the heathen prevails not. Father, disappoint the devices of the crafty in my life, in my family and in Nigeria, so that their evil hands will no longer perform their evil enterprises. Thank you, faithful Father, may your faithfulness keep me and grant me total victory through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.FUTHER BIBLE READINGEXODUS 14; 2 CHRONICLES 20: 15-17BIBLE READING PLAN FOR THE YEAR, 2022MORNING: EXODUS, 17-18;EVENING: LUKE, 23-24♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️Author: Pastor NseAbasi Harry♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️
ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL⛪ OCTOBER 3,2022.💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Today’s Theme: ⛪️ THE ESSENCE OF CHRIST’S DEATH”Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil “Text: Hebrews 2:14MESSAGE🍎Essence is the intrinsic nature or indispensable quality of something, especially something abstract, which determines its character. Essence is something you cannot do without.Christ death was indispensable. Our theme suggest why Jesus had to die?The Bible says that “through death, Christ has destroyed him that had the power of death, that is the devil” (Hebrews 2:14).Christ’s death has given us new life. Christ is the living and the true God.“But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, an everlasting King, at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation” (Jeremiah 10: 10)O child of God, death hath lost its sting, because the devil’s power over it is destroyed because our God is the living and the true God.“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”(1 Corinthians 15: 55,57). Then, cease to fear dying. Ask grace from God the Holy Ghost, that by an intimate knowledge and a firm belief of thy Redeemer’s death, thou will be strengthened for that dread hour. Living near the cross of Calvary thou may think of death with pleasure, and welcome it when it comes with intense delight. It is sweet to die in the Lord: it is a covenant-blessing to sleep in Jesus.“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me. Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; Yea saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them” (Revelation 14:13).Death is no longer banishment, it is a return from exile, a going home to the many mansions where the loved ones already dwell (John 14: 2). The distance between glorified spirits in heaven and militant saints on earth seems great; but it is not so. We are not far from home—a moment will bring us there. The sail is spread; the soul is launched upon the deep. How long will be its voyage? How many wearying winds must beat upon the sail ere it shall be reefed in the port of peace? How long shall that soul be tossed upon the waves before it comes to that sea which knows no storm?Listen to the answer in 2 Corinthians 5: 8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” So, once absent from this sinful world means present with the Lord.Yon ship has just departed, but it is already at its haven. It did but spread its sail and it was there (Jonah 1:3-5). Like that ship of old, upon the Lake of Galilee, a storm had tossed it, but Jesus said, “Peace, be still,” and immediately it came to land (Mark 4:35-39). Think not of a long period intervenes between the instant of death and the eternity of glory. Once the eyes close on earth they open in heaven. The horses of fire are not an instant on the road. Then, O child of God, what is there for thee to fear in death, seeing that through the death of thy Lord its curse and sting are destroyed? and now it is but a Jacob’s ladder whose foot is in the dark grave, but its top reaches to glory everlasting (Genesis 28:12). ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2022. SECOND SERIES, DAY ONE, 2022 Today’s Theme: ⛪ THE VEIL “Behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.” TEXT: MATTHEW 27:51 MESSAGE🇳🇬 During the time of Jesus, the holy temple in Jerusalem was the centre of Jewish religious life. Hebrews 9:1-9 tells us that in the temple, a veil separated the Holy of Holies-the earthly dwelling place of God’s presence -from the rest of the temple where men dwelt. This signifies that man was separated from God by sin (Isaiah 59: 1-2). Only the High Priest was permitted to pass beyond this veil once each year (Exodus 3: 10, Hebrews 9:7) to enter God’s presence for all of Israel and make atonement for their sins (Leviticus 16). And Jesus is the perfect High Priest in our new covenant, according to Hebrews 10: 19-21. “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh. And having an high priest over the house of God” The veil was a thickness of man’s hand embroidered with figures of cherubim like those Ezekiel saw guarding God’s temple (EZEKIEL 10: 1, 8). The purpose of the veil was to keep people out of the Holy of Holies (Exodus 26: 31-35; Hebrews 10: 19-22). The veil was also a picture of death whereby we enter the presence of God because of sins, the veil was torn at Jesus’ death from top to bottom. The Bible states clearly that when we turn to the Lord the veil is taken away (2 Corinthians 3:16). Wearing a veil (also unknown as head covering in our time) is seen as a sign of humility before God, as well as a reminder of the bridal relationship between Christ and the Church (1 Corinthians 11: 4-15). The veil in the temple was a representation of the boundary between earth and heaven. The profound significance of the tearing of the veil is explained in glorious detail in Hebrews chapter 10. The thick veil was fashioned from blue, purpose and scarlet material and fine twisted linen. The things of the temple were a shadow of things to come, and they all ultimately point us to Jesus Christ. He was the veil to the Holy of Holies, and through His death the faithful now have free access to God. Christ Himself is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Jesus Christ through His death, has removed the barriers between God and man, and now we may approach Him with confidence and boldness (Hebrews 4:14-16). Our sins stand in the way, keeping us from God’s glory (2 Corinthians 3:16). The Bible re-affirms that the veil is done away in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:14c) No mean miracle was wrought in the rending of so strong and thick a veil; but it was not intended merely as a display of power—many lessons were herein taught us. The old law of ordinances was put away, and like a worn-out vesture, rent and laid aside. When Jesus died, the veil was torn, and God moved out of that place never again to dwell in a temple made with human hands (Acts 17:24), the sacrifices were all finished, because all was fulfilled in him, and therefore the place of their presentation was marked with an evident token of decay. That rent also revealed all the hidden things of the old dispensation: the mercy-seat could now be seen, and the glory of God gleamed forth above it. By the death of our Lord Jesus, we have a clear revelation of God, for he was “not as Moses, who put a veil over his face.” Life and immortality are now brought to light, and things which have been hidden since the foundation of the world are manifest in him. The annual ceremony of atonement was thus abolished. The atoning blood which was once every year sprinkled within the veil, was now offered once for all by the great High Priest, and therefore the place of the symbolical rite was broken up. No blood of bullocks or of lambs is needed now, for Jesus has entered within the veil with his own blood. Hence access to God is now permitted, and is the privilege of every believer in Christ Jesus. There is no small space laid open through which we may peer at the mercy-seat, but the rent reaches from the top to the bottom. We may come with boldness to the throne of the heavenly grace. Shall we err if we say that the opening of the Holy of Holies in this marvelous manner by our Lord’s expiring cry was the type of the opening of the gates of paradise to all the saints by virtue of the Passion? Our bleeding Lord hath the key of heaven; he opens and no man shuts (REVELATION 3:7); let us enter in with him into the heavenly places, and sit with him there till our common enemies shall be made our footstools (HEBREWS 10: 13, PSALM 110:1). PRAYERS💚 Heavenly Father, I thank you for the ultimate sacrificed of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. I quite appreciate you for this show of ultimate love. I decree today, that every Satanic veil over my life and destiny be torn into total destruction. Everything that covers my glory and star be roasted by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus mighty name Amen. That which hides my bright star be burnt right now by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name, Amen. Heavenly Father, every foundational veil that hides me from my glory, I command that they catch fire of the Holy Ghost right now, in name of Jesus, Amen. Any demonic spell cast upon my life and family, Father, I command them neutralize right now by the blood of Jesus Christ, Amen. Every spell of shame and reproach cast upon my life, soul and spirit, I neutralize them right now by the blood of Jesus Christ. ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2022.Today’s Theme: ⛪ WEEP NOT“And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him”Text: Luke 23:27MESSAGE🍎Today’s theme is a divine command, “Weep Not” which Jesus saith to the widow at Nain whose son was dead (Luke 7:11-13) This command came before her son was raised to life. One thing about weeping is that it does not solve the problem at hand. Beloved, the antidote for weeping is the reading of God’s word and claiming his promises in the time of trouble. Another one thing is high praises to God who specializes in reversing the irreversible.Let’s see the master’s case scenario in Luke 23: 27-31; Amid the rabble rout which hounded the Redeemer to his doom, there were some gracious souls whose bitter anguish sought vent in wailing and lamentations—fit music to accompany that march of woe. When my soul can, in imagination, see the Saviour bearing his cross to Calvary, she joins the godly women and weeps with them; for, indeed, there is true cause for grief—cause lying deeper than those mourning women thought. They bewailed innocence maltreated, goodness persecuted, love bleeding, meekness about to die; but my heart has a deeper and more bitter cause to mourn. My sins were the scourges which lacerated those blessed shoulders, and crowned with thorn those bleeding brows: my sins cried “Crucify him! crucify him!” (Luke 23:21) and laid the cross upon his gracious shoulders. His being led forth to die is sorrow enough for one eternity: but my having been his murderer, is more, infinitely more, grief than one poor fountain of tears can express. Why those women loved and wept it were not hard to guess: but they could not have had greater reasons for love and grief than my heart has. Nain’s widow saw her son restored (Luke 7:11-12) – I myself have been raised to newness of life. Peter’s wife’s mother was cured of the fever (Luke 4: 38-39)—but I of the greater plague of sin.Out of Magdalene seven devils were cast (Luke 8:2)—but a whole legion out of me.Mary and Martha were favoured with visits—but he dwells with me.His mother bare his body—but he is formed in me the hope of glory. In nothing behind the holy women in debt, let me not be behind them in gratitude or sorrow.“Love and grief my heart dividing,With my tears his feet I’ll have—Constant still in heart abiding,Weep for him who died to save.”PRAYERS♨️Heavenly Father, I thank you for the assurance that I should weep because you have once settled my case on the Cross of Calvary.Lord by the grief of the Savior on the Cross I stand, and I decree that whatever may want to cause grief in my life, soul and spirit, I curse them this day by the saviour’s grief and put a stop to that which is not of your glory in my life in Jesus mighty name Amen.FURTHER BIBLE READINGJEREMIAH 31:1-18; MATHEW 2:13-18.BIBLE READING PLAN FOR THE YEARMORNING: EXODUS, 3-4EVENING: LUKE, 9-10💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Author: Pastor NseAbasi Harry💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦HAMMER WORD BIBLE CHURCH, ABAK, NIGERIA, CARES ⛪
ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2022Today’s Theme: ⛪ BEWARE OF SIN“If they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?”Text: Luke 23:31MESSAGE🍎The Bible warns us to “beware of sin”, for whosoever commiteth sin transgresseth the law; for sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). On the account of sin, Jesus came so that he might take away our sins and in him is no sin. Based on the above, we have been warned to “Beware of Sin”Our text suggest that, if the enemy did this to the righteous, how much more the sinner.Among other interpretations of this suggestive question, the following is full of teaching:“If the innocent substitute for sinners, suffer thus, what will be done when the sinner himself—the dry tree—shall fall into the hands of an angry God?”When God saw Jesus in the sinner’s place, he did not spare him; and when he finds the unregenerate without Christ, he will not spare them. O sinner, Jesus was led away by his enemies: so shall you be dragged away by fiends to the place appointed for you.Jesus was deserted of God; and if he, who was only imputed a sinner, was deserted, how much more shall you be?“Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”What an awful shriek! But what shall be your cry when you shall say, “O God! O God! why hast thou forsaken me?”and the answer shall come back,“Because ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh.” (Prov. 1:25-26)If God spared not his own Son, how much less will he spare you! What whips of burning wire will be yours when conscience shall smite you with all its terrors. Ye richest, ye merriest, ye most self-righteous sinners—who would stand in your place when God shall say,“Awake, O sword, against the man that rejected me; smite him, and let him feel the smart forever”?Jesus was spit upon: sinner, what shame will be yours! We cannot sum up in one word all the mass of sorrows which met upon the head of Jesus who died for us; therefore it is impossible for us to tell you what streams, what oceans of grief must roll over your spirit if you die as a sinner. You may die so, you may die now. By the agonies of Christ, by his wounds and by his blood, do not bring upon yourselves the wrath to come! Trust in the Son of God, and you shall never die.If you are still living in sin, why not come to Jesus now?Why not ask him for pardon? Why not ask him to have mercy upon you?Why not ask him to forgive your sins and cleans you with his precious blood? Why not ask him to give you eternal life?He is standing at the door right now. Yes, the door of your heart, He is knocking if only you can open for him, He will come in, and abide with you forever (Rev.3:20).He will be your God and you will be His child. God bless you if you heed His call. (if you are not born again.)CONFESSION (IF YOU ARE NOT BORN AGAIN AND YOU WANT TO SURRENDER TO JESUS CHRIST, DECLARE THIS STATEMENT)LORD JESUS, I COME TO YOU RIGHT NOW JUST AS I AM.I AM NOT WORTHY TO BE CALLED YOUR CHILD BECAUSE PF MY SINS. ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2022.Today’s Theme: ⛪️ VICTORY IN CHRIST JESUS“They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them”Text: Psalm 118:12MESSAGE:🍎Victory is the act of defeating your opponent or enemy in battle. Victory can also be defined as overcoming in a difficult problems or situations. Our victory as believers is anchored on Jesus. “For every one that is born of God overcometh the world. This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4).Our Lord Jesus, by his death, did not purchase a right to a part of us only, but to the entire man. He contemplated in his passion the sanctification of us wholly, spirit, soul, and body; that in this triple kingdom he himself might reign supreme without a rival. It is the business of the newborn nature which God has given to the regenerate to assert the rights of the Lord Jesus Christ. My soul, so far as thou art a child of God, thou must conquer all the rest of thyself which yet remains unblest; thou must subdue all thy powers and passions to the silver sceptre of Jesus’ gracious reign, and thou must never be satisfied till he who is King by purchase becomes also King by gracious coronation, and reigns in thee supreme. Seeing, then, that sin has no right to any part of us, we go about a good and lawful warfare when we seek, in the name of God, to drive it out. O my body, thou art a member of Christ: shall I tolerate thy subjection to the prince of darkness? O my soul, Christ has suffered for thy sins, and redeemed thee with his most precious blood: shall I suffer thy memory to become a storehouse of evil, or thy passions to be firebrands of iniquity? Shall I surrender my judgment to be perverted by error, or my will to be led in fetters of iniquity? No, my soul, thou art Christ’s, and sin hath no right to thee.1 Corinthians 15:57 states, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”.Be courageous concerning this, O Christian! be not dispirited, as though your spiritual enemies could never be destroyed. You are able to overcome them—not in your own strength—the weakest of them would be too much for you in that; but you can and shall overcome them through the blood of the Lamb, even our Lord Jesus Christ.Do not ask, “How shall I dispose them, for they are greater and mightier than I?” but go to the strong for strength, wait humbly upon God, and the mighty God of Jacob will surely come to the rescue, and you shall sing of victory through his grace. Don’t forget our victory, our total victory, our ultimate victory is through our Saviour Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)PRAYERS♨️Heavenly Father, I thank you for the love you have for me and all men.I know I am living in the victory you granted me through Jesus Christ. Father, empower me with the right strength and courage for this victory in Jesus mighty name Amen.Father, as I step out today, my going out is secured in Christ Jesus and my returning is secured in him. Empower me O Lord to fulfill my purpose in life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.FURTHER BIBLE READING1 CORINTHIANS 15: 55-58; PSALM 118:1-29BIBLE READING PLAN FOR THE YEAR, 2022MORNING: GENESIS, 47-48EVENING: LUKE, 3-4💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Author: Pastor NseAbasi Harry💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦HAMMER WORD BIBLE CHURCH, ABAK, Nigeria, Cares ⛪
ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL ⛪💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2022🇳🇬Today’s Theme: ⛪️ I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD“Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach”.Text: Hebrews 13:13MESSAGE:🍎The term World refers to the evil system controlled by Satan that leads us away from worshipping God. Therefore, “I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD (John 18:26)” means I am a pilgrim in this world, and I am not under the influence of Satan. It means I am a citizen of Christ’s kingdom with a temporary abode here on earth.Jesus, bearing his cross, went forth to suffer without the gate. The Christian’s reason for leaving the camp of the world’s sin and religion is not because he loves to be singular, but because Jesus did so; and the disciple must follow his Master. Christ was “not of the world:” his life and his testimony were a constant protest against conformity with the world. Never was such overflowing affection for men as you find in him; but still he was separate from sinners. In like manner Christ’s people must “go forth unto him.”They must take their position “without the camp,” as witness-bearers for the truth. They must be prepared to tread the straight and narrow path. They must have bold, unflinching, lion-like hearts, loving Christ first, and his truth next, and Christ and his truth beyond all the world. Jesus would have his people “go forth without the camp” for their own sanctification. You cannot grow in grace to any high degree while you are conformed to the world. The life of separation may be a path of sorrow, but it is the highway of safety; and though the separated life may cost you many pangs, and make every day a battle, yet it is a happy life after all. No joy can excel that of the soldier of Christ: Jesus reveals himself so graciously, and gives such sweet refreshment, that the warrior feels more calm and peace in his daily strife than others in their hours of rest. The highway of holiness is the highway of communion. It is thus we shall hope to win the crown if we are enabled by divine grace faithfully to follow Christ “without the camp.” (Hebrews 13:12)The crown of glory will follow the cross of separation. A moment’s shame will be well recompensed by eternal honour; a little while of witness-bearing will seem nothing when we are “forever with the Lord.”PRAYERS♨️Heavenly Father, I thank you for a worthy opportunity you have given to me to be your son.I am more than conquerors through Christ who called me, redeemed me and blessed me to be a blessing to all who come to me.Help me Lord to abide in your will and live victoriously with you to the end in Jesus mighty name Amen.I pray that this day will favour me. I speak to the spirit of the day, that it will not response to that which is not the will of God in my life. And I declare that the counsel of the Lord alone be done in my life , in Jesus mighty name, Amen.FURTHER BIBLE READING🗝️2 JOHN 2:15-16; 2 COR. 4:1-4; PHILIPPIANS 1:27BIBLE READING PLAN FOR THE YEAR, 2022.MORNING: GENESIS, 45-46EVENING: LUKE, 1-2💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Author: Pastor NseAbasi Harry💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦HAMMER WORD BIBLE CHURCH, ABAK, NIGERIA , CARES ⛪
