VOLUME 2.💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦THEME: THE PROFITTING OF WISDOM“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”TEXT: Ecclesiastes 10:10 (KJV)MESSAGE📕Wisdom adorns us with God’s character, with godliness, with a holy life – and these are the most beautiful things that we can have because they last long after the physical jewels of this life are gone. Wisdom is good. Wisdom is better than rubies. Her profiting is great. Proverbs 3:14-15, says: “For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than jewels; And nothing you desire compares with her” Proverbs 3:14-15There is a profit to wisdom – a payoff. When we learn to live lives that ask what the wise thing we should do – we will receive the rewards that wisdom has to offer to us.Our ability to remain sharp is the delight of our heavenly Father because it enables us to be ready at any time to carry out every task assigned to us. The Kingdom of God has resources, such as the Holy Scriptures and godly men and women, to keep us sharp and ready.Remember that we also have the Holy Spirit – Who is in us to teach, direct, and guide us – making life easy for us (John 16:13).Beloved, our cooperation is what the Holy Spirit needs to lead us to the scriptures that meet our specific needs.Dearly beloved, you don’t have to be ignorant and become blunt and weak; get enough of the Word of God into you by meditating on the Holy Scriptures, and you will gain wisdom to run your life and remain significant (Psalm 1:2–3); 2 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”.With the Wisdom of God our profiting must surely appear.The Profiting of wisdomi. Wisdom is a critical requirement for profitable life in time and in eternity.Ecclesiastes 10:10 makes it clear that wisdom is profitable to direct.So, it is not possible to experience a profitable life in this world and in the world to come without wisdom. This means, the absence of wisdom is the abundance of losses, losses in this life and in the life to come. People lose where wisdom is lacking. People even lose their souls in eternity in hellfire because they did not apply their hearts to wisdom on the earth. A profitable life is a product of wisdom.(ii.) Wisdom is the mystery behind every life of excellence (Ecclesiastes 10:10).“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct”Wisdom is the key to excellence on earth. Wisdom is the mystery behind every outstanding in life both spiritually and physically.Ecclesiastes 8:1 says,“Who is as a wise man and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing, a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine and the boldness of his face shall be changed”.Beloved, wisdom is behind shining in life. So, if you want to be an outstanding person, place demands on the Wisdom of God. It is the profiting of the Wisdom of God that makes you excellence in all things. Beloved, be wise.PRAYER🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Heavenly Father, I thank You for teaching me how to remain sharp and relevant in Your Kingdom. Indeed, Your Word makes one wise unto salvation. I put Your teaching to work now so that I can be sharp and relevant to impact the next generation with Your wisdom in Jesus’ name.
