Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
TEXT:👉 JEREMIAH 31: 13

MESSAGE🏡
Season of Joy is a time of God showing His great love for all His beloved. “Joy is not the absence of suffering; it is the presence of God.” Joy is the reality of God’s presence. Joy enables us to experience the kingdom in the way that Jesus did, because Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Joy is a gift from God. The root word for joy in the Greek is “chara”, which is closely related to the Greek word for grace “charis”. Joy comes when we are aware of God’s grace. Joy is a gift of God and also a response to the gifts of God. The Prophet Nehemiah said in Nehemiah 8:10, “the joy of the Lord is your strength!”
That sounds good… But what does it mean? What is the joy of the Lord? One commentator on this verse wrote “The joy of the Lord is the gladness of heart that comes from knowing God, abiding in Christ, and being filled with the Holy Spirit.” When Jesus was born, the angels announced “good tidings of great joy” (Luke 2:10). If you are a Christian, a follower, a disciple of Jesus, then you have already experienced the good tidings of joy He has brought into your life. Because Jesus came and turn our mourning into joy as was prophesied by Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 31:13. Which Joy are you talking about?
The joy of knowing that Jesus died for you.
The joy of knowing your place in Heaven is assured because of what Jesus has done for you.
The joy of knowing your sins, past, present and future have already been forgiven.
The joy of knowing that you are in a relationship with a God who loves you and cares for you and has a plan for you.
The joy of knowing that the Holy Spirit resides in you, leading and guiding you to bring honour and glory to God.
Knowing Jesus brings joy into our daily lives. May the Joy of the Lord remain with you in this season of Joy in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

TEXT: 👉LUKE 10: 21

MESSAGE🏡
Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Joy enables us to experience the kingdom in the way that Jesus did. Joy is a gift from God. Jesus demonstrated joy in His ministry. In Luke 7:34 the Pharisees even accused Jesus of being too joyful by dinning with the sinners. Luke 10:21 tells us “Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit”.
Listen to the words of Jesus recorded in John 15:9-11, “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” In John 16:24 Jesus told His disciples, “Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.”
In many of Jesus’ parables, there is joy, for example in Luke 15 there is the Parable of the Lost Sheep, Parable of the Lost Coin and Parable of the Lost Son; these Parables end with a joyful shepherd, a joyful woman and a joyful father.
One of the characteristics of the early church was joy. Acts 2:46-47 says, “They worshipped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.” Acts 13:52 tells us, “The believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”
The Apostle Paul often wrote about joy, in Romans 14:17 Paul wrote, “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
If you are a follower of Jesus this morning then you are part of the kingdom of God, you share in the life, peace and joy of God’s kingdom. I pray that you will be part of God’s kingdom. And, I pray also that you will remain in the joy of the Lord for the fulfilling of Godswill in your life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again, I say, Rejoice”
TEXT:👉 PHILIPPIANS 4: 4

MESSAGE🏡
Experiencing joy should be a part of every season in a Christian’s life. Paul writing to the church at Philippi, said in Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again, I say, Rejoice”. In 1 Thessalonians 5:16, Paul wrote, “Rejoice evermore”. It’s not just Paul that wrote about joy, listen to the words of Peter from 1 Peter 1:6-9, “So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.
So, when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honour on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of your souls.”
If you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour then whatever season you are in right now, the joy of the Lord should be in your heart. You are a child of God, no one can snatch you away from Him. You are an heir to a priceless inheritance, an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. You can experience the joy of the Lord in every season by keeping your eyes on Jesus, the champion, the author, the initiator, the perfecter, the finisher of your faith. Faith is the victory, faith overcomes, faith helps us to know that the joy of the Lord is our strength.
Maybe you are in a difficult season of life, maybe your situation or circumstance is difficult, maybe you are so focused on the problem you feel unable to experience the joy of the Lord.
Think about Paul and Silas for a moment in Acts 16, the situation they were in when they were locked up in a Philippian prison. Paul and Silas had been arrested without cause, then beaten without a trial, then they were put into a jail cell with their feet in the stocks.
Humanly speaking they were in a joyless situation, yet at midnight, they sang songs of praises to God. Then came the miracle, the prison shook, all the doors opened up and their chains fell off. Or think about Peter and the other Apostles, the High Priest and the Sadducees captured them and then had them flogged. The Apostles were ordered to never speak in the name of Jesus again and then they were released. It seems like another joyless situation yet Acts 5:41-42 says, “The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus. And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: Jesus is the Messiah.”
Walk in this joy and you will fulfill your mission on earth. God bless you.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”
TEXT: 👉HEBREWS 12: 2

MESSAGE🏡
Joy is very important in the life of the believer. Through the Joy of the Lord, believers can achieve many things. One of such is recorded in ISAIAH 12: 3;
“Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation”.
The apostles at Jesus days were following the example of Jesus who as Hebrews 12:2 says, “Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame.”
The truth is even the most spiritually mature of God’s people can experience periods of joylessness. In Job 3:11, Job wished he had never been born. In Psalm 55:6–8, David prayed to be taken to a place where he would not have to deal with reality. Elijah, fresh from seeing the 450 prophets of Baal defeated with fire that came down from heaven, fled into the desert and asked God to take his life.
If these great men of God struggled to find joy, how can we find joy in every season of life? For us to experience the joy of the Lord, our focus needs to be on God. Instead of dwelling in our difficulties, or allowing circumstances and situations to rob us of our joy, we must focus on God.
Now, let me be clear on this, I am not saying that we are to deny our feelings or try to suppress our emotions, but we are to submit our circumstances, our situations, our problems to the God who cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you”. We can pour out our hearts to God. We can tell Him how we feel. God cares for you.
How can we find joy in every season of life? In Philippians 4:4–9, the Apostle Paul gives us some practical guidelines for experiencing joy in our lives: “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And the joy of the Lord will overflow in your life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations”
TEXT: 👉JAMES 1:2 KJV

MESSAGE🏡
Beloved, we are here to see the beauty of Joy in the moment of trials and afflictions in every season of our lives. In our trial moment, let always observe the best practice as believers, as recorded in Philippians 4:8; “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”. Always, fix your eyes and thoughts on Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. Then the God of peace will be with you.
Paul emphasizes the importance of praising God and remembering that God is always near, in every season of life. We are to pray and focus on the things of God. We will experience joy when we intentionally bring our praise and worship to God. We will experience joy when we communicate with God through prayer.
In Jeremiah 31:13, God says, “I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing.” This is our portion.
We will experience joy when we walk by faith and keep our focus on the things of God. The book of James was written to Christians who had been scattered to different places, they were people who experienced a season of pain and persecution in their lives. If we have faith that works, it will be seen in how we face trials, how we treat people, how we talk, how we deal with sin in our lives and how we pray.
Let us consider James 1:2 as one of the most amazing statements in the entire Bible, the NIV translates it this way: “Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds.”
As we persevere through trials, with God’s help, our faith strengthens and matures. By God’s grace we can experience joy despite our circumstances. Listen to James 1:2-4 from the New Living Translation, says, “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”
I sincerely pray for you that, the Lord will uphold you in every step of your life, and whatever you will encounter in this life, the grace of the Almighty God will see you through in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

REFLECTION🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
We will experience joy when we walk by faith and keep our focus on the things of God.

MESSAGE🏠
Showers of Blessing are the release of God’s blessings upon the life of man. It is the abundance of prosperity, miracles, signs and wonders, which the Almighty God pours upon His people. Showers of Blessing are the promises of love, refreshing seasons, mercy drops, and sounds of abundant rain. Shower in the Bible according to the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia means “Gentle Rain”. What this means is that, in this month of September 2023, the Gentle shall come upon you as “showers that waters the earth” (Psalm 72:6). The Gentle Rain shall come as dew from the Lord upon us in Jesus name, Amen (Micah 5:7). In this month, all righteous branches shall flourish; abundance of peace shall be their portion” in Jesus mighty name, Amen (Psalm 72: 7).
One message always overlooked in the scriptures is the triumphant and abundant return of the children of Israel, as well as the world of saints who follow the Messiah and His inheritance. While this message is made clear throughout the scripture, it is often not emphasized by pastors, churches, and church media.
This may be so because of the one-sidedness feeling it may give to those who believe they are not physically part of the nation, the children of Israel. However, it is also the case because there is a vacancy in the nation for those who were not of Israel to come into the spiritual Israel. Through Christ, as much as, you are born again, you are part of the spiritual Israel (Romans 9:6).
Raining Showers of Blessings
Nevertheless, the Sovereign LORD of Hosts makes it clear (here in Ezekiel 34: 26) that He will make them and the places around His hill a blessing. The LORD will shower them with rain and showers of blessings.
The Almighty LORD will bless them and punish those who oppressed and abused them. The Sovereign LORD will plead with those who fed themselves instead of feeding the flock. While this is truly a redemption story for the children of Israel, it is also one for all the saints who placed their trust in the Holy One of Israel, the Messiah.
When the children of Israel are recovered, the entire world who trust and covenant with the children of Israel’s Creator, will also be recovered and showered with blessings. What a blessing! Hear the Lord;
22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. 23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24 And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it. 25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
There are great blessings awaiting the true Israel indeed. I pray that you will make a true Israel with Christ in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

God’s voice may not be audible, but it is discernable to the believer. God voice doesn’t always tell us what we “want” to hear, but He is certain for telling us what we need to hear. It is in the time of private prayer, devotion and meditation that God forms or better said, “reforms” our character into HIS.Here are parst of the 9 characteristics of a Healthy Believer – of someone who represents Jesus well. They are growing in loving-kindness.You recognize a healthy Christian by seeing the fruit of the Spirit in their lives. They are growing in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. (See Galatians 5:22-23)They feed regularly on the Word of God.DL Moody was a late Christian leader who had a high view of the Word of God, and shared so many good illustrations of why the Scriptures build a healthy Christian. He once said, “If we don’t bring people into closer contact with the Word of God, the whole impression from religious meetings will be gone in 3 months.”Until we learn to feed on the Word of God in our own personal, daily lives, we will never be the growing Christians God wants us to be. (See Psalm 1:1-3)They Regularly Practice God’s Presence.A healthy Christian regularly experiences God’s presence in their life. They want to know God personally, and God fills and empowers them by His Spirit’s loving presence. (See Romans 5:5)Their Faith is rooted in the Gospel.A healthy Christian knows the entirety of their salvation rests in God’s work on their behalf, through Jesus on the cross, not in their own feeble efforts at holiness. They do not spread mere moralism. They spread the gospel, which is focused on accepting Christ by faith, and following Him. (See Ephesians 2:8-9)They Faithfully Endure Hardships.A healthy Christian knows this life will not always be perfect. They have an eternal focus, and know this life is temporary and flawed. They are focused on believing God’s promises in the midst of the pain of this world. (See Acts 14:22)May the Lord grant us the grace to a healthier relationship with God in Jesus mighty name, Amen.REFLECTION🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿“God voice doesn’t always tell us what we “want” to hear, but He is certain for telling us what we need to hear”PRAYERS:🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿HEAVENLY Father, I thank you for a healthier Christian life. We can see the benefits of Praise.Praise builds our faith on God’s promises and help to accelerate our requests from God. At times, the voice of God comes inform of trumpet sound. Apostle John said, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and heard behind me, a great voice, as of a trumpet”Praise puts our faith into action. The building of our faith pleases God; it excites God when we trust Him.Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.Praising God in the midst of our trials is like saying: “God you are my source of strength and though storms rise and winds howl, my trust is in you.” It is like keeping the kingdom of darkness silence.PRAISE brings the power of heaven to our help.Hear this in Psalm 18: 4-6; 4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. 5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. 6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” May your cry this day send help to you from heaven in Jesus mighty name, Amen.TO WALK IN VICTORY YOU MUST GET YOUR EYES OFF ALL CIRCUMSTANCES OF LIFE and focus on God.In Matthew 14: 29-30, Peter got out of the boat. Peter focused on Christ not the storm. As his attention shifted he began to sink.29 “And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me”.In John 5:1-8; the Bible talks about the LAME MAN AT THE POOL OF BETHESDA. Afterward Jesus returned to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish holy days. Inside the city, near the Sheep Gate, was the pool of Bethesda, with five covered porches. Crowds of sick people: blind, lame, or paralyzed, lay on the porches. One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew how long he had been ill, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred up. While I am trying to get there, someone else always gets in ahead of me.” Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your sleeping mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up the mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath day. With our God, all things are possible. The Lame man obtained victory of healing and began to walk to proof the supremacy of the Almighty God.As you trust in the Lord and keep praising Him for all that He has done for you, may the Lord empower you to walk in permanent victory in Jesus mighty name, Amen.🍎REFLECTION🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿“TO WALK IN VICTORY YOU MUST GET YOUR EYES OFF ALL CIRCUMSTANCES OF LIFE AND FOCUS ON GOD”🍎PRAYER🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿HEAVENLY Father, I thank you for the life of victory you have granted me and my family. Spring is always associated with new beginning and fresh starts. Spring is the time when the days start to get longer. A time when snow begins to melt as the weather gets warmer. A time when plants begin to grow and flowers bloom. A time when animal awaken from hibernation. Spring is one of the 4 temperate seasons sitting between winter and summer (AUTUMN (FALL), SUMMER, SPRING, WINTER). This season is a time of warming weather and nature coming back to life. As flowers bloom and animals are born, we are reminded of the innocence and beauty that exists in this world and that there is new life all around us. As Christians, we are given new life and new mercies every morning (Lamentations 3:22-26); 22 “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore, will I hope in him. 25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord”.Spring is the beginning of new seasons in our lives, as a child of God. Spring provides a wonderful reminder to us that we should be living a full life and leaving the old dead parts of life behind. There is always hope during the coldest, darkest winters of life. Spring will come and new life will come forth! In this season of spring, may you experience new seasons of glory, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.According to the Bible, Spring symbolizes a time of renewal and new beginning. Spring is a time for growth, this may be a combination of spending much time with God, constant fellowship and impactful service to God.Spring Season is a time of rebirth, joy and love. Spring shows how good will always triumph over evil, and life over death.Spring is the essence of all that is good. Spring also symbolizes life in its glory. I pray for that in this our spring season, you will experience the glory of God. Your rising month will know no bounds.Scripture describes this awesome vibrancy of this season in multiple passages. For example, in Deuteronomy 11: 14, the Bible says; “That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil” (Kjv). But according to the message Bible, it reads; “He’ll take charge of sending the rain at the right time, both autumn and spring rains, so that you’ll be able to harvest your grain, your grapes, your olives” (DEUTERONOMY 11: 14, MSG). You know what this means, it means, this is your season of your harvests. And in this season, whatever your soul desires, from fruit of the womb to a life partner, from employment to financial freedom, from deliverance to healing and health, the God of the harvest will grant to you in Jesus mighty name, Amen.REFLECTION 🍎“Spring is the essence of all that is good. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” (Psalm 42: 1-2)We will explore the theme of thirsty hearts and the fulfillment we can find at the well of life. Just as physical thirst drives us to seek water, our souls also long for something to quench their thirst. Our souls possess an innate thirst, a longing for something greater than ourselves. This thirst cannot be satisfied by worldly pleasures or material possessions. It can only be quenched by the presence of God. Like a deer desperately seeking water in the wilderness, our souls pant after God, yearning for His refreshing presence. In Jeremiah 2:13 (KJV) we find that men seek the broken cistern than the fountain of the living waters.”For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” Often, in our pursuit of fulfillment, we turn to broken cisterns—worldly pleasures, achievements, or relationships that promise satisfaction but fail to deliver. These broken cisterns can never quench our spiritual thirst. They leave us empty and unsatisfied. Yet, God, the fountain of living waters, stands ready to provide lasting fulfillment if we would only turn back to Him.The Samaritan Woman’s Encountered Jesus in John 4:13-14 (KJV); “Jesus answered and said unto her, whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”. In the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well, we witness a powerful transformation. Jesus offers her living water, a water that satisfies the deepest longings of her heart. The water He offers is not physical but spiritual, symbolizing eternal life in Him. When we encounter Jesus and receive His living water, our thirsty hearts find fulfillment that surpasses anything the world can offer. Beloved, we can draw water from the Wells of Salvation. But how? Isaiah 12:3 (KJV) offers the answer; “Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” God has provided us with the wells of salvation. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can draw from these wells and experience the joy and fulfillment they offer. The salvation provided by God satisfies our spiritual thirst, bringing us peace, hope, and an everlasting relationship with Him. As we drink deeply from these wells, our thirsty hearts are replenished, and we find true fulfillment in God’s presence.May the Lord empower you to constantly draw water from the fountain of the living waters that will quench your thirsty soul, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.REFLECTION🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿:“Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can draw from these wells and experience the joy and fulfillment they offer”PRAYER🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿:HEAVENLY Father, I thank you for the water of life you have given to me through Christ Jesus. In the spring season, the Lord is bringing us into a new season of abundance. We may have experienced many difficult, fearful and dangerous experiences in the winter to teach us obedience and faith. We may have gone through a season of lack and mere survival in the winter. We may have lived in the wilderness experience of having just enough and barely getting through. But the Lord is bringing us out of the winter into spring season (a season of abundance) and overflow where we will have more than enough to meet our needs and have plenty left over to share with others in need.Beloved, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well in Jesus mighty name, Amen.In JOHN 10:10, the Bible says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. Abundance life is what Christ came to offer us.PHILIPPIANS 4:19 states, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus”. PSALM 34:9-10 declares, “Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing”.Let’s look at God’s plans for in PSALM 23:1-6; “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever”. DEUTERONOMY 8:1-20 declares “Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land that the LORD promised on oath to your forefathers. Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you. Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in his ways and revering him. For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you. Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery…”We have seen all the good promises of God in the season of abundance, but adherent to his covenant and laws will bring all these abundant blessings to manifestations in our lives and family. I pray that we are gradually moving from the winter season to the spring season because of the knowledge of the truth in the gospel. And as much as we are in the season of the abundance of harvest, the Bible advised us to “Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today” (DEUT. 8:18). Follow the warning here; “If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God” (DEUTERONOMY 8: 19-20).In JOEL 2:21-27, the Bible says “Be not afraid, O land; be glad and rejoice. Surely the LORD has done great things. Be not afraid, O wild animals, for the open pastures are becoming green. The trees are bearing their fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their riches. Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten, the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm, my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed”. PSALM 66:10-12 declares, “For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver. You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance”.Follow this again, after Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the LORD had brought upon him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring. The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the first. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys (JOB 42:10-12). It is certain that as obey the Lord and walk in his will, you will begin to swim in the ocean of the blessings in Jesus mighty name, Amen.REFLECTION🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿:“Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today”PRAYER🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿:HEAVENLY Father, I thank you for our ultimate supply. We may have gone through a season of sorrow, pain, shame, reproach and discouragement in the past, that was your winter season. But now the Lord is bringing us out of the season of sorrow into a season of joy and happiness, which is your spring season. He will turn our captivity and fill our mouths with laughter. He will turn our mourning into dancing. He will turn our sorrows into joy. He will grant our petitions and remove the sorrow from our heartsFrom PSALM 16:11, “You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand”.JOHN 15:11 says, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete”. The big question is, which season are you now?In JOHN 16:24, we are told, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete”. In NEHEMIAH 8:10, Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”In PHILIPPIANS 4:4, the Bible says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”PSALM 126:1-3 declares, “When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then, it was said among the nations, the LORD has done great things for them. The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy”. In this your season of joy, great things shall come to you.PSALM 30:5,11 has this to say, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy”PSALM 90:13-15 says, “Relent, O LORD! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants. Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble”.God’s compassion is coming to restore your joy in Jesus mighty name, Amen.ISAIAH 61:3,7 says, “provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.” I pray for that as you are leaving winter to spring, may your joy be full, and may you reign in everlasting splendor in Jesus mighty name, Amen.REFLECTION🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿“Rejoice in the Lord always. Winter season is not good for us because it comes with sorrow, harshness, hardship, pains, etc. Spring season is better, because it offers, rebirth, progress, abundance, peace and joy, etc. In this spring season, the Lord says “Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end” (Isaiah 60: 20). The ending of the days of your sorrow is the beginning of your joy, key into God’s seasons. May you find true joy in Christ Jesus in Jesus mighty name, Amen. In JOHN 16:20, the Bible says, “I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy”. This season breeds joy. So, unspeakable joy shall be your portion. In 1 SAMUEL 1:13-18, when Hannah was passing through sorrow, pain, shame, reproach for her inability to conceive, there she went to Shiloh, then she had an encounter with the servant of God, Eli as Hannah appeared before the Lord in Shiloh. The Bible declares, 13 “Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore, Eli thought she had been drunken.14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So, the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad”.The change of her countenance signifies the season of joy. And the Bible says She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast. Hannah contacted joy at God’s presence. You too can obtain joy as you pour out your heart to God. Get close to God, He will not pass you by. It is interesting that in Ephesians 6: 17, Paul tells us that the sword of the Spirit is the word of God;“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”This sword is sharp. The word translated “sharper” refers to a blade that is able to do its work with a single stroke. It does not need to keep hacking away. But since it is a double-edged sword, it can protect and attack from either side regardless of the angle of attack. As a Christian you do not need any other weapon. How deeply does the word go into a man? What activity takes place when the word of God is proclaimed? …it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. We are learning in our evangelism class how to present the gospel in a way that bypasses the mind, the place of argument, and go straight to the heart or conscience. The word works that way for salvation but it also works that way for receiving all God’s promises. You see, until you can bypass the mind, the place that is the place of argument where the spiritual battles take place, and allow the word to go directly to the heart or spirit man, you cannot have the faith to receive His miracles in your life.Faith never stems from the soul, or the mind or emotions, but from the spirit or heart. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world; 4” For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5)On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. We do not allow our thoughts to steal the victory away from us. God’s word divides soul and spirit. It is sharp enough to separate the joints and the marrow – like a surgeon’s scalpel – and it judges the thoughts and the attitudes of the heart or your motives. Look at what James says about having the right motives in receiving the work of God in your life. James 4:1-3; 1 “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? 2 You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures”.There are three things James talks about here concerning motives:1). Your relationships with other Christians are not where they should be. Your desires control you instead of your relationship with the Lord.2) You allow doubt to enter your mind and control your life so that you don’t even bother asking God for the very things you need.3) You want what you want when you want it. Not knowing that God gives to everyone according to the measure of their faith Romans 12: 3: “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith”Your prayer is always about you and never about God. You won’t receive anything that way. But the word, when applied to the heart, will change that if you let it. May the Lord give you a change of heart to always depend on Him through His words in Jesus mighty name, Amen.PRAYER🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word and life. ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2023. VOLUME 2.💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦THEME: THE PROFITTING OF WISDOM“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”TEXT: Ecclesiastes 10:10 (KJV)MESSAGE📕Wisdom adorns us with God’s character, with godliness, with a holy life – and these are the most beautiful things that we can have because they last long after the physical jewels of this life are gone. Wisdom is good. Wisdom is better than rubies. Her profiting is great. Proverbs 3:14-15, says: “For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than jewels; And nothing you desire compares with her” Proverbs 3:14-15There is a profit to wisdom – a payoff. When we learn to live lives that ask what the wise thing we should do – we will receive the rewards that wisdom has to offer to us.Our ability to remain sharp is the delight of our heavenly Father because it enables us to be ready at any time to carry out every task assigned to us. The Kingdom of God has resources, such as the Holy Scriptures and godly men and women, to keep us sharp and ready.Remember that we also have the Holy Spirit – Who is in us to teach, direct, and guide us – making life easy for us (John 16:13).Beloved, our cooperation is what the Holy Spirit needs to lead us to the scriptures that meet our specific needs.Dearly beloved, you don’t have to be ignorant and become blunt and weak; get enough of the Word of God into you by meditating on the Holy Scriptures, and you will gain wisdom to run your life and remain significant (Psalm 1:2–3); 2 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”.With the Wisdom of God our profiting must surely appear. The Profiting of wisdomi. Wisdom is a critical requirement for profitable life in time and in eternity.Ecclesiastes 10:10 makes it clear that wisdom is profitable to direct. So, it is not possible to experience a profitable life in this world and in the world to come without wisdom. This means, the absence of wisdom is the abundance of losses, losses in this life and in the life to come. People lose where wisdom is lacking. People even lose their souls in eternity in hellfire because they did not apply their hearts to wisdom on the earth. A profitable life is a product of wisdom.(ii.) Wisdom is the mystery behind every life of excellence (Ecclesiastes 10:10).“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct”Wisdom is the key to excellence on earth. Wisdom is the mystery behind every outstanding in life both spiritually and physically.Ecclesiastes 8:1 says,“Who is as a wise man and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing, a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine and the boldness of his face shall be changed”.Beloved, wisdom is behind shining in life. So, if you want to be an outstanding person, place demands on the Wisdom of God. It is the profiting of the Wisdom of God that makes you excellence in all things. Beloved, be wise.PRAYER🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Heavenly Father, I thank You for teaching me how to remain sharp and relevant in Your Kingdom. Indeed, Your Word makes one wise unto salvation. I put Your teaching to work now so that I can be sharp and relevant to impact the next generation with Your wisdom in Jesus’ name.
